DEATH OF W. W. HESLER; SICK SOMETIME, AGE 70
After a sickness of three years W. W. Hesler, aged [70] years, died at his home at 425 South Washington street, yesterday afternoon.
Mr. Hesler on account of his age and the fact that he had been sick so long, his death was not entirely unexpected, still it came as a distinct shock to his many friends. In addition to his widow there are seven children surviving Frank,
Andrew, Nellie, Baxter, Amos, Inez and Mrs. Ethel Shields. Mr. Hesler is also survived by the following brothers and sisters; John Hesler of Siloam Springs, Ark., Mrs. Flora Stevenson and Mrs. Cora Naylor, Cayuga, Ind.; Mrs. Ida Pribble, Camargo, Ill., John Hesler, and Mrs. Belle Johnson, Mattoon, Ill.; and Durbin Hesler, of this city.
Mr. Hesler was an honored member of the Methodist church and was loved and respected by a host of friends. The funeral will be from the Knights church tomorrow at 2 oclock and the services will be conducted by Rev. Monroe
Swindler.
