Mr. and Mrs. E. S. Templin and a granddaughter while driving in a Ford roadster were struck by a passenger train three and a half miles west of Cleveland, Oklahoma Wednesday January 2. Mrs. Templin died before they reached the city of Cleveland and her husband 4 days later.

There are numerous articles in the Oklahoma newspapers. Elber's granddaughter was with them and survived. Mrs. Templin was Charles' 3rd marriage. The granddaughter was from his first marriage to Tammy Chenoweth.

Mrs. Templin died from the effects of it before they reached the city of Cleveland; her husband dying four days later. Mrs. Templin was formerly Mrs. (C. Robbin)? and lived southeast of the city of Enid; her body was shipped to Gravitt, Ark., her old home the following Friday, accompanied by her son, Don Robbins of Clevland and Mr. Richard Bennitt of Oklahoma City.
