Lelah was the second wife of Newton Ross Belford. The couple had one son, Hugh Warren Belford. Newton died before Hugh was two years old.
Lelah later married William M. Thompson, and they had a son named William R. "Bill" Thompson in 1913. Wm M. Thompson was a successful businessman in the oil industry and a cattle rancher. The couple lived in Tulsa.
