Mrs. Naomi Katherine Hendrix 78 died Friday at Muscatine General Hospital following an extended illness.
Services will be at Geo. M. Wittich Funeral Home. Burial will be in Letts Cemetery.
She was born Feb. 12, 1899, in Wapello, the daughter of Wallace and Katherine Wheatley Kline. She married Vernon Hendrix and lived in Muscatine for 45 years and was a former resident of Letts. She was a member of the First Christian church.
Survivors include four sons, Walter Hendrix of Moline, ILL., William Hendrix of Dallas, Tex., Donald Hendrix of Kansas City, Mo., and Larry Hendrix of Anglo, Ind.; three daughters Mrs. George (Twyla) McDonald of Muscatine, Mrs. Neva Winters of Sunnydale, Calif., and Mrs. Loletia Naber of Rockford, Ill.; 31 grandchildren; 41 great grandchildren; one brother Stewart Kline of West Liberty; four sisters, Mrs. Arthur (Leo) Schalk , Mrs. Emma Hixon both of West Liberty, Mrs. Gladys Fisher of Davenport and Mrs. Winifred Price of Roseman, Calif.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sons, three sisters and two brothers.
