Apparently, Bartley MONTGOMERY had a daughter named Jane Montgomery.

Jane Montgomery married Joshua A. WATTS, son of Polly McCONNELL and Rev. Hope Hull WATTS
Married In Floyd County, Georgia on January 09, 1844

The details are unknown to me, but Joshua and wife Jane WATTS both died on same day November 16, 1851 leaving at least three young children--
John William WATTS born May 08, 1845
Mary Elizabeth O. WATTS born July 03, 1847
Monterey WATTS born ca 1850

The above named children were enumerated on the 1870 census living with their grandparents Bartlet/Bartley and Elizabeth Montgomery, as follows:
John William WATTS, Mary Elizabeth O. WATTS, Monterey WATTS

Oldest son of Jane Montgomery WATTS was John William WATTS, Memorial # 25002793 buried Payne Cemetery, Athens, Henderson County, Texas.

Joshua A. WATTS's younger brother Dr. George Troup WATTS married June 05, 1859 in Gaylerville, Cherokee County, Alabama where his older children were born.

I believe the Mary Elizabeth O. WATTS Love (Memorial # 79351309 buried Oak Bowery Cemetery, Cherokee County, Alabama) to be Bartley Montgomery's granddaughter. Mary Elizabeth WATTS married Thomas J. LOVE in Floyd County, Georgia on December 23, 1873. Mary's children were Sidney Norman, Cecil Bruce, and Paul H. LOVE.

At least one Chandler family researcher has Bartley married twice, one abt 1813 to Tabitha Chandler and again abt 1819 to an Elizabeth (unk).
I'm trying to sort this family out because my father has a DNA match to someone in this line but they are from the 2nd wife and thus shouldn't be a match as we are Chandlers and would be related to children of the 1st marriage to Tabitha Chandler. So, do you have any further info on this family that may help me?
