The wife of John Shore, she died Thursday, age 47, on Jackson Street in Hope. Funeral service was at the home on Saturday with burial at Hope. Children are Annis and Eva.
Loretta Coyle Shore married John William Shore (1863-1929) on 15 Dec 1888 at Bartholomew County, Indiana. Lorreta and John were the parents of three known children, namely:
1. Annis Lucy Shore (b. April 23, 1888 in Hope, Indiana (Bartholomew County). She married James Samuel Gilliland (1883-1975) on 22 Nov 1914 at Bartholomew County, Indiana. She died 24 Jan 1970 at Indianapolis, Marion Co., Indiana.
2. Eunice C. (or L.?) Shore (b. 12 Mar 1890), married Ernest Cooper on 24 Jul 1918 at Bartholomew County, Indiana. She died 18 Apr 1953 at Indianapolis, Marion Co., Indiana.
3. Eva Winifred Shore (b. 29 Jul 1902) married 1) Glenn Dewitt Loy on 06 Aug 1921 at Shelby Co., IN; 2) Newell J. Black on 02 Jun 1935 at Clark County, Indiana.
After Loretta died, John remarried to Matilda "Tillie" Ann Foust (1891-1963) on 21 May 1921 at Bartholomew County, Indiana and had one known additional child, Norma Jean Shore (b. 1922). Tillie remarried to Mr. Cole after John died.
