She was born on May 23, 1923 in Lawrence County, Indiana to Milton and Nora (Blackwell) Merry.
Halleena married John Clutts on December 4, 1948 and he passed away on July 12, 1988. She then married Mack St. Clair on October 24, 1989 and he survives.
She retired from the Shoals Jay C Store, and was a member of the Shoals Christian Church and Shoals Senior Citizens.

Grandchildren: Scott Saucier, Liberty, MO; Brent Shaw, Gladstone, MO; Lea Cruise, Daytona Beach, FL; Cecil Gerkin, Port Clinton, OH; Jerry Jr., Steven G., and Cheryl Gerkin all of San Antonio, TX; and James D. Gerkin of Converse, TX.
Six great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by parents, husband John, four sisters and nine brothers.
