Daughter of John William Dodge and Harriett Perkins (Dunklee) Dodge. Wife of Charles Rufus Brown who is buried with her.

1850 - living in Hampton Falls NH with her parents where her father is working as a farmer. Siblings : Mary age 8 born about 1842, Richard age 3 born about 1848, and Susan age 10 months.

1860 - living in Hampton Falls NH with her parents where her father is working as a farmer. Siblings : Mary 18, Richard F 13, Harriet age 6 born about 1854 in NH, and Jessie age 4 born about 1856 in NH.

1870 - living in Hampton Falls NH with her parents where her father is working as a farmer. Siblings : Harriet 18, Jessie 18, Arthur age 7 born about 1863, and Margaret S age 5 born about 1865.

1880 - living in Hampton Falls NH with her mother who is now a widow as John died in 1875, no occupation is listed for her mother. Siblings Harriett, Jessie B, Arthur M, and Margarete D.

1895 - in her husband's passport application dated 10 May 1895 we find her birth date and location, that she and their son Samuel age 9 will accompany him. Their address is given as simply Newton Center. Charles is working as a professor.

1900 - living at 73 Parker St in Newton Mass (very close to Andover Newton Theological Institute) with her husband who is working as a professor of theology. They have just one child, who is living with them, Samuel E age 14 born in 1885 in Mass.

1908 - in her husband's passport application dated 8 Apr 1908 we get much the same information about them. He is listed as a teacher. Nobody is accompanying him and he will return within 2 years.

1910 - living at Institution Ave, Bradford Court, Newton Mass (which is very close to the Andover Newton Theological Institute), with her husband who is working as a College Professor. No children are listed. The data says their only child is still alive (Samuel E).

1910 - in a passport application dated 12 Aug 1910 we get much the same information about them. This time she will accompany him and they plan to return within 2 years.

1920 - living on South Rd in Hampton Falls NH, listed as a widow with nobody else listed at that address.

1930 - living on Pleasant St in Hampton Falls NH, listed as a widow with nobody else listed at that address.
