Ervin E. Batt, 69, died Monday in Ball Hospital. He was born in Muncie and attended Muncie schools. Mr. Batt was in the Army during World War II. He was employed at Chevrolet-Muncie (now Detroit Diesel Allison) for 35 years before retiring in 1981. He was a member of Avondale Sympathy Club and Anchorage Bowling League.
