Roy E. Batt, 76, died today at Ball Hospital following an illness of three weeks. He had entered the hospital Thursday.
Mr. Batt was born in Ohio, but had lived since infancy in Delaware County. From World War II years until his retirement in 1954, Mr. Batt had been employed at Ball Brothers. Earlier in his life he had also worked at the Minnetrista Golf Course, the handle factory, and the railroad. Burial will be in the family lot in Hawk Cemetery. THE MUNCIE EVENING PRESS
