Lenvil grew up in the Willow Springs area & graduated from the Willow springs High School, the class of 1955.He was umited im marriage to Carol J. Welton on March 19,1956 in Twin Bridges, Mo.To this union, three children were born. Lenvil was an honest man who knew the value of hard work. He was employed with the Douglas County Road & Bridge Department & retired in July 21,2011. He was also a farmer. He enjoyed spending time on his farm working with his team of horses. He also enjoyed square dancing. He loved his family. He loved spending time with them.He accepted the Lord as his Savior in Dec. 2003 & was baptized on August 1,2010He was preceded in death by his parents,his son,Royce Dean;three brothers, Leon,Leroy & Stanley.He isa survived by his loving wife of 55 years,Carol; one son,Marty & wife Ronda,of Vanzant, Mo.;one dayghter, Penny Medlock& husband,David,of Vanzant,Mo.;one brother,Randy of Twin Bridges, Mo.;three sisters,, Joyce& husband Robert,Dora,Mo., Bernice & husband,Gerald,Mtn. Grove, Mo. & Ruth & husband Stasey, of Twin Bridges,Mo.;10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; several neices ,nephews,cousins & friends who will greatly miss him.Funeral services were held on Monday, Oct.3,2011, at the Little Zion Church in Texas County, Mo.with Rev. Keith Reese & Rev. Gail Scherer officiating.Ruth Collins & Glen Goss & Friends served as singers & misicians. Song selections were "The Old Rugged Cross", "I'll Fly Away". & My Friend". Pallbearers were Nick Clinton,Tommy Medlock,John Medlock,Caleb Cain,Josh Robinson & Travis Cooper,Abner Medlock & Micaiah Medlock served as honary pallbearers. Burial was in the Little Zion Ccemetery under the direction of Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home, Mtn. Grove,Mo.
