Her obituary reads: "Rites will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in Guardian funeral home for Mrs. Lottie Frances Hendricks, wife of a Norman hotel operator and mother of Mrs. Joe Russell. Burial will be at Sunny Lane cemetery. Mrs. Hendricks died Sunday from a heart condition in a Norman hospital.
She was born in Plainville, Kansas, and moved to this state with her parents at an early age. Mrs. Henricks was a member of the Methodist church.
Survivors other than her husband and daughter are a son, Jess Hancock, Springfield, MO.; two sisters, Mrs. Effie Hale and Mrs. Luella Little and a brother, W.E. Gilland, both of Junction City, Ore.; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren." The Daily Oklahoman January 31, 1956
