Noted French Actor. He worked in cinema from 1920 to 1988, one of the longest careers of any actor. He is best remembered for his films: "Le Salaire de la Peur" (1953), "Si Versailles M'était Conté" (1954), "Les Diaboliques" (1955), "To Catch a Thief" (1955), "Cadaveri Eccellenti" (1976) and "Les Saisons du Plaisir" (1988). He was cremated and part of his ashes was scattered in the Mediterranean Sea.
