Margaret Harmon, 78, of Baytown was born August 11, 1931 in Liberty and passed away Saturday, May 8, 2010 in a local hospital. She was a member of First Baptist Church and her Sunday school class there.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marshall and Chollye Pugh. She is survived by her husband, Buddy Harmon of Baytown; son and daughter-in-law, Ricky and Becky Harmon of Old River; daughter and son-in-law, Shella and Jim Hill of Nederland; sisters, Evelyn Mayes of Wallisville, Dorothy Abshier and Mary Cline, both of Hankamer and Paulette Beazley of Anahuac; grandchildren, Brenda Diane Harmon, Ricky Glen Harmon and Michael Ray Harmon, all of Baytown, Gary Wayne Harmon of Tomball, Daken James Hill of Port Neches and Jared Wade Hill of Nederland; and 13 great grandchildren.
Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Monday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Navarre Funeral Home with Rev. Chuck Taylor and Rev. Carey Froelich officating. Burial will follow at Abshier Cemetery in Hankamer.
Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons and great grandson, Kelton Harmon.
