Eloise Redding Harris, 90, died Thursday, September 29, 2011 at the Early Memorial Nursing Home in Blakely. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 1, 2011 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Manry-Jordan-Hodges Funeral Home . Rev. Jackie Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Mars Hill Cemetery.

Serving as Active pallbearers will be: John Redding, Phil Redding, David Cleveland, Bryon Bell, Fred Lewis, Tony Smith and Kenny Redding. Serving as Honorary pallbearers will be the Cowboys and Butchers of White Oak Pastures.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 1 to 2 PM.

Mrs. Harris was born Oct. 15, 1920 in Dixie , Ga. to the late Virgil Redding and Bama Hamilton Redding. She was a homemaker and of the Methodist Faith.

Mrs. Harris is survived by a son and dauthter and law: Will Harris III and Yvonne of Bluffton, Ga. 3 Grandchildren; Jessica Harris Miller & husband Joey of Donalsonville, Ga, Jenni Harris and Jodi Harris both of Bluffton, Ga.

Mrs. Harris was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Will Bell Haris; 2 sisters; Aileen Batchelor and Mattie Loyless and by 7 brothers, Buster Redding, Wayne Redding, Grover Redding, Jim Redding, Robert Redding, Russell Redding and Chester Redding.
