Of 201 22nd Ave., died following a brief illness at 11 p.m. Sunday, May 28, 1978, in Altoona Hospital. Mr. Isenberg retired as a machinist from the Penn Central Railroad in 1970 after 48 years' service. He was born Oct. 1, 1905, in Altoona, a son of John and Nannie (Watters) Isenberg, and was twice married, first to Dorothy Crain, and following her death to Jean Kelly Kimble. Surviving are his wife, three children, Mrs. Jeanne Chase of Hyattsville, Md., Mrs. Judith Brunette of Altoona and John of Polk; four stepchildren, Robert Kimble of Longmeadow, Mass., Mrs. Blanche Ferris of Youngstown, Ohio, Jeffrey Kimble of Westminster, Md., and Dr. John Kimble of Rockland, Mass.; 14 grandchildren, and a sister and brother, Mrs. Christina Graham of South Lakemont and Ross of Hollidaysburg. Mr. Isenberg was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church, Hollidaysburg, where he served as a deacon and elder. He was a member of Logan Lodge, F&AM, Altoona, Scottish Rite bodies, Jaffa Shrine Temple and Square and Compass Club. He was past president of the machinist's union. He was also a member of the Park Hills Golf Club and Retired Men's Bowling League. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in Stevens Mortuary.
