On Robinette Anderson's Memorial Page #77325439, Anderson Family Cemetery, Wilkes, North Carolina, there are several mistakes. (1) MARTHA ELLIS is not SAMUEL ANDERSON'S wife but his mother who is born in 1739 in Virgina, married to JOHN ANDERSON. SAMUEL ANDERSON'S wife is LUCRETIA STANLEY b 1772 in New Kent, Virginia. Also, on REBECCA CURRY who is the wife of ROBINETTE ANDERSON was born in 1802 and died in 1847 as per her Memorial page... Thanks for your time of making memorial pages...Colleen

Samuel Anderson Married Martha Ellis His Mother was a Sarah married to John at least that is on a deed in 1789 that I look at over at the court house, and Samuel Married Martha 1792 and then his son Samuel married Elizabeth Smithey. Never found any marriage to any Stanley except Ellis Anderson to Nancy Stanley 1813.

NOTE: Despite what is stated in Coy's suggestion above about Robert's brother Samuel marrying Elizabeth Smithey, research has led me to believe that it was not Robert's brother but his father that married Elizabeth Smithey.

And Nancy Stanley was actually married to an Enos Anderson, as shown by their marriage record. Ellis, proven by Census record to have been born in about 1801, would have been only about 12 years old in 1813, too young to have married. And no sources give a name similar to Enos for him. Nancy was probably more likely married to Ellis's cousin, Enos Anderson, son of his uncle, George.
