Brothers and sisters: not accounted for are Marian (George Dinius stayed in Russia, Mathilda (Peter Schmidt in Argentina), Magdalena (Joseph Hoffart in Argentina), Rose the youngest child died of diptheria. Valentine Gerhardt and Magdalena Assel are the parents to 11 children.

Mrs. Katherine Fleck, aged 65, wife of George Fleck, farmer living nine miles south of St. Anthony, died at 6:00pm last evening following five months illness of dropsy.
Deceased was born in Russia where she was married to Mr. Fleck, coming to Morton County, ND more that 27 years ago. Her father was Valentine Gerhardt. She was widely known in the St. Anthony community, as was prominent in the work of the St. Francis Verein and the Catholic Church there. Taken ill about 5 months ago, she had gradually failed until death Friday evening relieved her sufferings.
Beside her husband, she leaves eight children: John G. Fleck, Matt Fleck, Joe Fleck, George Fleck all farmers in Morton County, and Mrs. Joe Steckler, Mrs. Marcus Hellman, Mrs. Peter Mauer, and Miss Margaret Fleck at home.
The funeral services will be held from the St. Anthony Catholic Church at 10:00am Sunday morning.
