Funeral services for Mary Evie Batson Greer, 91, of Many, were
held in the Warren Meadows Funeral Chapel on Sunday, Jan. 6, at 3
p.m. The Rev. Willis Greer, the Rev. Louis Skinner, and the Rev.
Otha Greer officiated at the services. Burial was in the
Bethsadia Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows
Funeral Home.
Mrs. Greer died in the Heritage Manor Nursing Home on Friday,
Jan. 4, at 9 p.m., following an extended illness.
Survivors include two sons, R. B. Greer of Many, and Waple Greer
of Monroe; three daughters, Maggie Adams of Dallas, Tex., Ionia
Franklin of Many, and Pauline Skinner of Clarence; 16
grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and one great-great
grandchild.
