Roscoe Greer, 65, of Many, died in Shreveport on Saturday, Aug.
23, at 7:30 a.m., as the result of an accident.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Francis Greer of Many; one
son, the Rev. Buddy Greer of Many; his parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Felix Greer of Many; three grandchildren; three brothers, R. B.
Greer of Many, J. D. Greer of Tulelake, Calif., and Waple Greer
of Monroe, and three sisters, Mrs. Maggie Adams of Dallas, Tex.,
Mrs. Ionia Franklin of Many, and Mrs. Pauline Skinner of
Natchitoches.
Funeral services were held at the Bethsadia Baptist Church on
Sunday, Aug. 24, at 2 p.m. The Rev. Truett Alford, the Rev. Hoy
Leach, and the Rev. Homer Fondren officiated. Burial was in the
Bethsadia Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows
Funeral Home.
