72 years old Civil War Veteran, son of Duncan and Jane Cameron.

On 3 Aug 1849 in Plymouth, MA, he married first Mary T. Chubbuck.

On 22 Apr 1851 in Plymouth, MA, he married second Kesiah D. Haskins, daughter of Nathan and Kezia Haskins. She died 15 NOV 1885.

PVT - He enlisted 24 Jan 1862 in Co.A , 1st.Mass.Cav, age 35 years and six months, according to his enlistment record. He was described as 5 feet 11 and 1/2 inches tall, with brown eyes and hair and a dark complexion.
In January and February 1863, he was on detached service in the Brigade Ambulance Corps.
On 7 Nov 1864 he was discharged at the end of his term of service.
