OLLA — Funeral services for Mrs. Effie Snow Cornwell, 86, of Olla, who died Monday at Columbia Heights Hospital after a long illness, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Standard Baptist Church with the Rev. James Simons officiating.
Burial will be in Olla Cemetery under direction of Riser and Son Funeral Home of Columbia.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Robert Harris of Bloomburg, Tex.; two sons, Herman Cornwell of Lake Charles and M. V. Cornwell of McComb, Miss.; two sisters, Mrs. Vannah Poole of Aimwell and Mrs. Myrtle French of Jena; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
