Funeral services for Herman Pascal Cornwell, 85, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 5, in Hixson Funeral Home. The Revs. Bill Billings and J.P. Miles will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Visitation is 2-10 p.m. today.

Mr. Cornwell died Friday, Dec. 3, 1999, in Welsh. He was a native of Olla and moved from Orange, Texas, to Lake Charles in 1946. He was a Shriner and a Mason and was a member of and a deacon at Boulevard Baptist Church.

Survivors include one son, Herman Paul Cornwell of Ragley; two daughters, Gayle Clark of Westlake and Carolyn Cummings of Lake Charles; one brother, M.V. Cornwell of Summit, Miss.; one sister, Effie Mae Harrist of Bloomberg, Texas; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
