Age 80, of Wilmington, DE, passed away on September 26, 2011.
Mr. Nicholson was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He was employed with the Dupont Company with 40 years of service before retiring and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Harry is survived by his wife of 59 years, Bertha Nicholson; his children Susan Laushey and husband Tim, Harry A. Nicholson III, Mark Nicholson and wife Maureen, Tina Jackson and husband Joseph and his grandchildren, Denis Hehman, Melissa Hehman, Robert Nicholson and Joseph Jackson.
The family would like to thank the entire staff at Brandywine Rehabilitation and Compassionate Care Hospice for all of their care and support given to them. Visitation will be held from 10-11 am, on Friday September 30, at the McCrery and Harra Funeral Home, 3710 Kirkwood Highway Wilmington, 19808 followed by the burial in Riverview Cemetery, Wilmington.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Brandywine Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, 505 Greenbank Rd., Wilm., DE 19808 or Compassionate Care Hospice, 701-B Kirkwood Highway, Wilm., DE 19805.
