Job was the son of Josias "Josiah" Ellsworth (1629-1689) and Elizabeth Holcomb Ellsworth (1634-1712). He married first, Mary Trumbull, on December 19, 1695 in Windsor, Connecticut. They were the parents of 6 children known to me; Benjamin, Job, Hannah, Mary, Elizabeth and Margaret. After the death of Mary, Job married Sarah Warner on October 25, 1711 in Windsor, Connecticut. Job was a Captain in the Windsor Militia. The inventory of his estate indicates that he was a weaver by trade. (Bio by Don Stout)
