Funeral services were held this morning at the Christian church for Jake Spalding, who died at the home of his brother, Tolbert Spalding, of Windsor, Thursday night after suffering a heart attack.
A lifelong resident of this community, he had made his home with his brother since the death of his sister, Mrs. Rena Earp in June.
Mr. Spalding is survived by two brothers, in addition to Tolbert. They are John of Eldon and Ford of Eugene. His sister, Mrs. Jack Blackburn of Eugene also survives.
