George Haney McFall, 71, of St. Bernice, died at 10:55 pm Sunday at Vermillion County Hospital in Clinton.
He was a retired railroad engineer.
Born Jan. 27, 1918, in Hillsdale, he was the son of Harry McFall and Lillie Mae Sykes McFall.
He was preceeded in death by his wife, Mary Winifred McFall, who died Dec. 30, 1988.
He was a member of Brotherhood of Local Engineers and St. Bernice Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Phyllis Shorter of Rockville; two sons, David of Clinton and John Paul of Decatur, Ill.; two brothers, Paul of Watseka, Ill. and Donald Jack of Hillsdale; three sisters, Ancile Delp of Clinton, Edith Fortner of Montezuma and Maxine Thomas of Hillsdale; 14 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Services are scheduled for 10 am Wednesday at Brown Funeral Home in Montezuma, with Rev. Lawrence Overpeck officiating. Burial is in Oakland Cemetery. Visitation is 5 to 8 pm today
