John Paul McFall 69 of Clinton passed away on May 15, 2014 at 10:00pm in his residence. He was born on Feb 8, 1945 in Hillsdale to George McFall and Mary Jones McFall. He served in the Navy during the Vietnam War and 12 years with the National Guard. He was an Engineer with the railroad for CSX. He married Pam Winters McFall on May 16, 1998 in Decatur, IL. He was a member of the VFW 6653 and American Legion.
He is preceded in death by his parents, a sister Phyllis Shorter, a daughter Stephanie McFall, two sons; John McFall Jr., and Jonathan McFall.
He is survived by his wife Pam McFall of Clinton, their children; Brad & Kim McFall of Decatur, IL., Kent & Denise McFall of Rosedale and Russ & Tiffany McFall of Decatur, IL., Vince Vandevender of Clinton, Leanna & Ed Payton of Rockville and Teresa & Rob Setzer of Matton. A brother David & Debbie McFall of Hillsdale. Also, 18 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Vistitation will be held on Tuesday from 10am to 1pm at Frist Funeral Home. Service will be at 1:00pm with Pastor Wray Offermann officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
