Funeral services for Bruce Wilson, 71, of Langdon and formerly of Leal, were held February 18 in the United Methodist Church in Langdon with burial in the Leal Cemetery.

He was born August 13, 1913 at Leal and attended school there and at North Dakota State University in Fargo where he graduated in 1935. He was a vocational agricultural instructor at Lancaster, MN and at Steele, ND for five years. He was the audit veterans-on-farm instructor for five years at Fort Benton, MT, and Kensal, and also part time while he attended graduate school at Colorado A & M. He was county agent for five years in Choteau County, MT and in Logan County in North Dakota. He served as a city supervisor for the FHA in Cavalier County from May 1956 to 1977 and then retired.

He married Wilma Gulmon in 1939 near Sanborn, who is deceased.

He is survived by a son, Gordon, of Minneapolis, MN and a daughter, Jean Gorecki, Maplewood, MN, four brothers, Irwin, San Luis Obispo, CA, Clifford, Chevy Chase, MD, Fred of Oceanside, CA, John “Duffy” of Leal, two sisters, Vivian (Mrs.Merril) Burke, Sun City, AZ, Edith (Mrs. Robert) Van Dvander of Eugene, OR and four grandchildren.
