Mrs. Rena Johnson Funeral Services Held at Sturgeon
STURGEON ― Funeral services for Mrs. Rena Logsdon Johnson, who died at the Schmidt Nursing Home in Columbia Thursday, were held this afternoon at the Sturgeon Methodist Church with the Rev. H. P. Anglen, Columbia, officiating and assisted by the local pastor, the Rev. Clifford Love. Burial was in Mt. Horeb Cemetery, south of Sturgeon. Mrs. Johnson, daughter of William and Mary Alice Rouse, was born in Santa Fe, Monroe County, on February 17, 1890. On April 18, 1916, she was married to Sylvester J. Logsdon, who preceded her in death, and to this union were born two sons, Lee R. Logsdon of Columbia and James N. Logsdon of Jefferson City; and two daughters, Mrs. Millard Fulkerson of Collinsville, Ill.; and Mrs. Joe Palmer of St. Louis. In 1937 Mrs. Logsdon was married to Owen Johnson, who survives her. Other survivors are two brothers, Frank Rouse of the state of California and Ollie Rouse of Omaha, Neb.; two sisters, Mrs. Ed Button of Adrian, Mo., and Mrs. Sylvjan Teupker of Albuquerque, N.M.; and four great grandchildren. Mrs. Johnson was a member of the Sturgeon Methodist Church.
