Mrs Martha Kehr, 84 years, a life-long resident of this community, died Saturday morning at 11 o'clock at the Kehr home where she lived with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr and Mrs Otis Reynolds, 5 1/2 miles northeast of Wakarusa. She had been ill for almost a year.

Mrs Kehr was born Jan 22, 1862, in Baugo township, the daughter of Jeremiah and Elizabeth Eyer. Her marriage to Martin Kehr took place Dec 27, 1884. Mr Kehr died 7 years ago.

Survivors include a son, Jerry, of Goshen; 3 daughters, Mrs Ed Brenneman of Wakarusa, Mrs Waren B Cripe and Mrs Otis Reynolds, both of Goshen; a brother, Oliver Eyer of Middlebury; 23 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Mrs Kehr was a member of the Bethel M B C church for more than seventy years.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon with a service at the home at 1 o'clock and a further service at the Olive Mennonite church at 2 o'clock with the Rev Paul F Kreiss assisted by Rev A B Yoder officiating. Burial in Olive cemetery.
