After a long search for the resting place of Caleb, Lee Vernie and their son Livius, I found that the cemetery had built its own website and that they have a search feature which came in very handy to locate the graves of these three.

Burial rites for Caleb Choate, 65 years old, early-day Elk City resident who died at 1 p.m. Thursday at an Oklahoma City hospital, were to be held Friday afternoon at Fairlawn cemetery.
Mr. Choate died after a three week critical illness. He had been in ill health for about four years. Funeral services were held Friday morning at the Emanuel Baptist church of Oklahoma City.
Mr. Choate was born in 1874 in Fentris county Tennessee. He was married in 1897 at Monroe, Tenn. to Lee Vernia Norrod.
They came to Elk City in 1908, remaining here until 1914.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Lee Vernia Choate; one daughter and three sons. The daughter is Mrs. J. T. Dell, Oklahoma City. Julian Choate, Shawnee , and Orleon Choate, Oklahoma City. Two sisters, Mrs. Lois Reeves and Mrs. Annie Crabtree both living in Tennessee and two brothers Rufus and Isaac Choate also survive. Other survivors are two grandchildren.
Burial was to be beside a son who died in infancy here.
Mr. Choate was the brother-in-law of Mrs. W. H. Hughes, 522 North Main street.
