Eulala Cox Dickerson, 92, of Naples, Fla. and formerly of Floyd County, Va., died Thursday May 31, 2007 at Lakewood Manor Care.

She was born May 12, 1915 to Zack T. and Eliza Reed Cox. She lived most of her life in Willis, Va., until she moved to Florida in 1993.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar L. Dickerson; her son, Marlin L. Dickerson; five sisters, Ocie Dulaney, Pearl Reed, Rosie Clay, Ilene Hylton, Alda Cox; and brother, Hobert Cox.

Survivors are her daughter, Phyllis D. Liebing, Naples, Fla.; three sisters, Clarice Smith, Indian Valley, Va., Lois Jean Cox and Dorcas Elaine Cox, Floyd, Va. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral service will be held in the chapel of Gardner Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 5, 2007, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Michael Varner officiating. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Willis, Va. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 4, 2007, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Gardner Funeral Home. Arrangements by Gardner Funeral Home, Floyd.
