Born Feb. 17, 1923, in Frankfort, Ill. to Paul and Martha (King) Richerson, she married Lewis T. Williams on April 13, 1941, in South Fulton, Mo. He preceded her in death on Nov. 23, 1995, in Pekin.
Also preceding her in death were her parents; four brothers and one sister.
Ruth is survived by two sons, Wilburn R. "Will" (Janet) Williams of Peoria, Wayne R. "Randy" (Ada) Williams of Kansas City, Mo.; three grandchildren, Timothy (Rachelle) Williams of East Peoria, Angela (Bradley) Wiebler of Peoria, Steve Thomas of Kansas City, Mo.; five great-grandchildren, Alessandra (Nate) Morrison of Peoria, MacKenzie Williams of East Peoria, Stephanie Thomas of Kansas City, Mo., Kathy Thomas and Amy Thomas, both of Charleston, W.Va.
She had worked for Nyman's Market in Creve Coeur for many years in the meat department.
Ruth loved to cook and spend time with her family.
Private graveside services will be at Lakeside Cemetery in Pekin.
