Benson, died at their home in Sycamore
township Saturday night, after
an illness of five weeks with typhoid
lever, aged 26 years. Deceased had
enjoyed good health all his life and
was a strong, robust young man until
smitten with this treacherous disease.
He was genial and industrious, and,
as one of his young friends said, "as
steady as a clock. The death of such
a one, just at the beginning of a useful
life, seems doubly sad. The
funeral services were held yesterday
afternoon and the remains were laid
to rest in the Charter Grove cemetery
