HOWARD HAYES,82, Northport, formerly of Detroit, died on Wednesday, June 7, 1995, at Northport Hospital. He was born on September, 1913, the son of Van Hayes and Stella Cook Hayes. He was a farmer.
Funeral services were held on Friday, June 9, 1995, at 3 p.m. from the chapel of Hamilton Funeral Home with burial in the Cooper Cemetery. Elvis Cochran was the officiating minister.
Survivors include his wife - Robbie Hayes, Rockford, IL; two sons - James Hayes, Rockford, IL., and Harold Hayes, Congerville, Il.; daughter Betty Joyce Turner, Rockford, IL,; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; sister - Willie Mae Hill, Detroit.
Hamilton Funeral Home directed the services.
