CARNEY Mr. Willard Ralph "Bill" Carney, 89 of Pascagoula, MS passed away September 19, 2011 at his home. He was born December 22, 1921 in Lawrence County, MS. Mr. Carney was of Pentecostal faith. He retired from the Quality Assurance Department at Ingalls Ship-building after 32 years of service. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Era Jackson and Kathleen McCain; brothers, Earl Carney and H.P. Carney; great granddaugh-ter, Lana Shay Havis. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Izettie Carney of Pascagoula; two daugh-ers and sons-in-law, Connie Faye and Charles Havis; Pearline and Charles Caple of Vancleave; sisters, Ethel Roberts, Willie Mae Cothern and Betty Jean Reid, all of Jayess, MS; Adell Nicholas of Columbia, MS; seven grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; church family and friends. Visitation will be held Friday, September 23rd from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Family Life Church in Escatawpa. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 24th from Family Life Church with Rev. Jerry Sullivan officiating. Interment will follow at Serene Memorial Gardens in Escatawpa.
