Parlia Phillips was born in Phelps, Ontario, NY on July 11, 1812. He married Mary Warner, daughter of Jesse and Margaret (Hutchison) Warner. Mary was born Jan. 15, 1818 (or Nov. 15, 1817) in Phelps, Ontario Co., NY. They both died in York township, MI; he died Oct. 27, 1874, she died March 20, 1884.
