Albany and vicinity, who died here Tuesday morning, were conducted Thursday afternoon
in the Albany Baptist church. The Rev. G. Theodore Vleih, pastor of the Evangelical
church at Monticello, officiated an burial was in Hillcrest cemetery.
Born in Deitz, Germany, Mr. Reasa came to this country in 1874, and settled in Decatur
township, where he farmed for eight years. He was first married to Minnie Wagner. In
1886 his second marriage to Pauline Strutz took place. They have resided here since
moving from a farm in Sylvester township 23 years ago.
Besides the widow, Mr. Reasa is survived by two children from his first marriage, Mrs.
Frank Sellnow and Henry Reasa, Albany, and two sons by his second marriage, Edward and
Ben Reasa, both of whom reside on farms near this village.
