DIED LAST NIGHT
Thomas Meyer Succumbs to Disease After a Year of Illness
At 11:15 o'clock last night Thomas Meyer died.
Deceased had been suffering from a swelling on the side of his throat and face for over a year past and was at the time of his death 40 years of age.
He was a carpenter by occupation but recently has not been able to work at his vocation owing to his illness.
Mr. Meyers was born in this state and had always lived here. He leaves a wife and four children to mourn his taking away.
He was a member of the Court Street M. E. Church and the order of Woodmen and Home Forum lodges in which societies he carried insurance.
Owing to diphtheria in the family the funeral will be private and will be held from the house, 1123 Grant avenue tomorrow forenoon at 10 o'clock.
