Peggy L. White, age 78, of Warsaw, Missouri, died on Friday, August 5, 2011, at Truman Lake in Warsaw, Missouri.
Born Tuesday, December 20, 1932, in Dover, Missouri, the daughter of the late Clarence Eldon Weidenhammer and the late Grace Ellen (Hall) Weidenhammer.
She lived most of her life in the Higginsville and Corder areas, moving to Warsaw in 1994. She worked as a seamstress at the Unitog Garment Factory in Concordia, Mo until her retirement in 1994. She married Donald D. White on March 6, 1953; he preceded her in death on July 30, 1991. Also preceded in death were two brothers, Charles Weidenhammer and Larry Weidenhammer; and one sister, Betty Chisam.
Surviving are two sons, Donald D. (Cathy) White of Higginsville, MO and Clarence "Butch" (Hope) White of Corder, MO, daughters, Debbie (Tim) Reider of Warsaw, MO and Brenda (Steven) Homfeld of Corder, MO, brother, Billy Weidenhammer of Warsaw, MO., special friend, Earl Zink of Warsaw, MO; 12 grandchildren Larry White, John Oetting, Scott White, Dustin White, Derek White, Kyle White, Nathan White, Amanda White, Amber White, Craig Homfeld, Angelica Lamb and Kayla Homfeld. and 6 great grandchildren Alicia White, Cathryn Oetting, Dustin White Jr., Laura Anderson, Bobby Joe Wilson IV, and Micah Wayne White.
A funeral service was held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, August 9, 2011, at Hoefer Funeral Home Chapel. Interment was in City Cemetery, Higginsville, MO.
