ESTY OWEN MEEKINS, 66, of Carrolltown, died August 9, 1960 in Miners Hospital, Spangler.

Born January 14, 1894, a son of George and Adda (Frampton) Meekins.

Mr. Meekins is survived by his mother. Akron, Ohio; his widow, the former Anna Morris, and these children: Marilyn, Carrolltown; Mrss. Kathleen Bagley and Dale, both of North East, Pa., seven grandchildren; Brother of Ivan, Mrs. Hazel McCombs.Bernard and Shirley. all of Akron, Ohio; and Wesley, of Montebello, Calif.

He was employed by Ebensburg Coal Company for 21 years; was a Thirty-Second Degree Mason of the Williamsport Consistory; member of Ebensburg Lodge 312; F & AM.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 10 p.m.Thursday in Long Funeral Home, Barnesboro, where Masonic service will be conducted at 8 p.m. Thursday and services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, August 12. Rev. Robert Cessna will officiate and interment will follow in Lloyd Cemetery in Ebensburg.
