He was the son of George Wesley and Adda Frampton Meekins. He married Catherine Sweitzer whom died in 1933. Thay had the following children George, Bernice, Thomas,Charles, and Margery. He is survived by his second wife Marie, three children, a sister Mrs. Charlie Fleming, Ivan, and Shirley Meekins. All of Akron Ohio.
