Mattie Lou Reagan was born to James and Minnie Aycock on November 21, 1913. She was graduated from high school in Arapaho, CO in 1928. She went on to graduate college from the University of Central Oklahoma in 1932.

She was a beloved primary teacher and author of several Pentecostal publications including Sunday School Quarterlies for primary students.

She married Raymond C. Reagan in 1949. She bore three children, taught school, ran a home and taught Sunday school for 30 years. She was always kind to all who knew her. All of her life, she was a peacemaker and showed forth Jesus Christ in front of family and friends. She was an active soul winner and never left a person she came into contact without knowing that Jesus Christ was the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

She is survived by her brother, Don Aycock and his wife, Rita; sister, Gladys Lunow; sons, Jon and James Reagan; and daughter, Susan; grandchildren, Ryan Reagan, Arrian Todd, Rebecca Daniels and Christa Ann Reagan, and great-grandson, Elias VanNoy.

Mattie Lou went to be home with Jesus on July 2, 2010. She was welcomed home by her parents, Minnie and James; brothers, Frank, Bill, Jack, and Eugene; beloved husband, Raymond; and grandson, Stephen.

Our special thanks to the staff at Meadowlakes Nursing Home for their loving care these last three-and-a-half years.

Services: Wednesday, July 7, 2010, at John M. Ireland Funeral Home Chapel, Moore, OK. Interment is at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Oklahoma City, OK.

Services are under the direction of John M. Ireland Funeral Home and Chapel, Moore, OK.
