Harley Jordan, 71 of 1809 Greenwood, died Wednesday morning at Lakeland General Hospital after an illness of one month. He was a native of Waycross, Ga., and came to Lakeland in 1912. He was a retired carpenter and a member of the Medulla Primitive Baptist Church.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Eva Jordan; five daughters, Mrs. Thelma Robinson and Mrs. Louise Glover both of Lakeland, Mrs. Edna Adams and Mrs. Ruth Smith both of St. Petersburg, and Mrs. Martha Sutrain of Tampa; a brother Alfred Jordan of Lacrosse; three sisters, Miss Lona Jordan and Mrs. Oda Roberts both of Lakeland, and Mrs. Lelilah Carter of Waycross; 18 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Jordan, Harley - Funeral services for Harley Jordan age 71, who passed away yesterday morning, will be held Saturday from the Medulla Primitive Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Conducted by Elder Isaac Davis officiating. Friends may call this evening from 7 till 9 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Lakeland Memorial Gardens. Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home in charge.
