Found in The State 02 April 1976: Mrs. Pearl I. Huffstetler Epting, 76, of Chapin, widow of John A. Epting, died Thursday in the Lowman Home. Born in Lexington County, she was a daughter of the late William and Cedecia Shealy Huffstetler. She was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Carroll Moore; two sons, Elon V. and Joe R. Epting, two sisters, Mrs. Ansel Slice and Mrs. Carl Shealy; three brothers, Adgie, Elbert and Harvey Huffstetler of Chapin; 10 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
