Funeral services for Sondra Lewis, age 72, of Jacksonville, are scheduled for 10:00 am, Thursday, September 22, 2011 at Autry Funeral Home chapel, Jacksonville with Virginia Ann Boyd, Rev. Steve Edwards and Eddie Secrest officiating.
Burial will be held at Still Waters Memorial Garden, Jacksonville.
Mrs. Lewis passed away Saturday, September 17, 2011 in Jacksonville, TX.
She was born February 2, 1939 in Shreveport, LA.
Mrs. Lewis was a bookkeeper for many years. She attended the Mangum Methodist church in Shreveport, LA
She is preceded in death by her father, Ray Basinger; son, Rusty Hale and a daughter, Blythe Dixon.
Survivors include husband, Donald Lewis of Jacksonville; sons, Phillip Hale and wife Carol and Donald Lewis II of Greenwood, LA; daughter, Debra Thomas of Ocean Springs, Miss; mother, Blanche Basinger of Oklahoma city, OK; brother, Mike Basinger and wife Connie of Ore; sisters, Peggy of Jacksonville and Brenda Jernigan;
and great friend, Barbara Jones.
Pallbearers will be Gregg Hale, Donald F. Lewis, Bill Sherman, Ray Vardeman, Joe Pat Dickson and Rusty Dickson
The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Wednesday, September 21, 2011, at Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
