Father of :
Isaac Richard Hill,
Samuel Hill,
Jesse Hill,
Bartley Hill,
Mary Hill Daniels,
Sarah Hill Cahoon,
Rebecca Hill,
Abigail Elizabeth (Elizabeth) Hill Eblin and
Rhoda Ellen Hill Sumpter.

It is believed that he died before 1870 and was buried in an unmarked grave on his farm in section 27 of Morgan Twp near the intersection of the Vinton-Eno and Frank Ward Roads according to book "Jackson County, Ohio History & Families" by Jackson County Ohio Genealogy Society.

Thanks to a suggestion by Robin Fife, past president of The Gallia County Historical and Genealogical Society.:

"Between 1975 & 1978, when a survey of cemeteries was done, it was reported that there were no stones at the burial site. The only way The Historical Society knew who was supposed to be buried there was to ask someone. It was reported that only Richard Hill and a son of Richard's were known to be there."
