Inez Wiget, a longtime Merced resident, died Friday at Merced Community Medical Center. She was 74.
Mrs. Wiget was born Nov. 25, 1925 in Custer City, Okla. She was a housewife for 56 years and enjoyed sewing, reading, the outdoors, and fishing.
She is survived by her sister, Mildred Pearson of Merced.
Visitation is today from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Ivers and Alcorn Funeral Home in Merced. Pastor Steve Gossett, Merced Community Medical Center chaplain, will conduct a graveside service Friday at 1 p.m. at Merced District Cemetery.
