Harold Adkins, age 87, of Martin, KY., passed away March 6, 2009, in Kings Daughters Hospital.
He was born February 20, 1922,at Harold, KY., son of the late Bud and Cora Spears Adkins.
He was a Retired Coal Miner, and a member of the Arkansas Community Church of God.
He was the husband of the late Mary Crum Adkins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one son, Hubert Adkins, and seven brothers, Brack, Lewis, Willie, Carl, Garner, John Lee and Sesco Adkins, three sisters, Stella Conn, Nova Conn and Dakota Conn.
Surviving are one sister, Della Crum of Martin, KY., two grandchildren, Tamara Lynn Adkins and Sheila Ann Baker, three great-grandchildren, Jeffrey Kyle Adkins, Brock Tyler Adkins and Mason Baker
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 10, 2009, at Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, Martin, Ky., with
Bud Crum, Johnny Patton and Ernest Reynolds officiating.
Burial will be in Arvil Crum Memorial Cemetery, Arkansas Creek, Martin, Kentucky.
